He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman C. Myers and Ruth Anna Brewer Myers; his wife Hazel Marie Ward Myers; and his brother Robert Myers. He is survived by: his close friend Roy Bingaman; his daughter Rebecca A. Toms (John) of State Line, PA; and his grandchildren, LaChylle Marie Toms (Alyssa) of Martinsburg, WV and Kurtis Ray Benchoff (Caspurr) of Greencastle.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trinity United Church of Christ (29 East Ave, Greencastle, PA 17225). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cedar Lawn Cemetery (17636 W Washington St, Hagerstown, MD 21740).
The family requests the omission of flowers, and if desired memorial contributions may be in his name to the Trinity United Church of Christ Building Fund, P.O. Box 266 State Line, PA 17263.
