He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Spangler and Clara Irene Burger Spangler; his wife Frances G. Spangler; and his brothers, Guy, Richard and Paul.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rose Shearer of Ft. Loudon, PA, Donna Stouffer (Carl "Jerry") of State Line, PA, Diana Jones (Robert, Jr.) of State Line, PA and Robin Blair (Randy) of Greencastle, PA; and his siblings, Mary Fahrney and Bill Spangler (Ruth Ann).
