He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Thomas and Althea Morgan Thomas; and his son Bradford Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Jane Jennings; his sons, Roderick S. Thomas (Lorella) of Boalsburg and Craig F. Thomas (Heidi) of Arlington, VA; his grandchildren, Ben and Rachel Thomas; and his daughter-in-law Noreen Thomas of St. Petersburg, FL..
