She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorsey Bilger and Augusta Bilger; her former husband William Hartfield; her husband Ken Thomas; and her brothers, Calvin and Donald Bilger.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Penick (Robert) of Hebron, OH; her granddaughters, Amanda Griffith (Jon) of Hebron, OH and Sarah Hawk (Dan) of Louisville, KY; her great grandchildren, Lindsey and Lauren Griffith; her sister Wilda McInturff of Johnstown; and her sister-in-law Norma Bilger of Grampian. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
