He was predeceased by: his parents, William James and Manerva Hershberger; his former wife Dorothy M. Steiner; and his grandson Luke Metzler. He is survived by: his wife Diana Kohl; his children, Tim Hershberger (Gwen) of Goshen, IN, Louise Metzler of Goshen, IN and Susan Miller (Doug) of State College; his stepdaughters, Laura Jeanne Hansen (Toby Altman) of Lemont and Kristen Lee Hansen of Blaine, WA; and his grandchildren, Smucker, Eugene, Doran and Gerald Hershberger. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
