He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Eckenroth and Sarah M. Eckenroth (Charles); his wife Winnie L. Thomas; his brothers, Harry and Gerald Eckenroth; his siblings-in-law, Ron Heltman, Norma Eckenroth and Emma Lou Eckenroth; and his nieces, Bonnie Struble and Jean Marie Hook Evans.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Heltman of Snow Shoe, PA; and his nieces and nephews, Ralph Hook (Judy) of Rixeyville, VA, Gary Eckenroth of Centre Hall, PA, Scott Eckenroth (Cindy) of St. Marys, PA, Rich Eckenroth (Karen) of Treasure Lake, PA, Jackie Shivery (Sandy) of Howard, PA, Debra Shook (Kevin) of Bellefonte, PA, Linda Hook of Richmond, VA, Linda Hassinger of Runville, PA, Patty Hipple (Tom) of Snow Shoe, PA, Amy Cooper of Altoona, PA and Lisa Grove (Howard, Jr.) of Bellefonte, PA.. He is also survived by seven cats.
