She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Geert Drewes and Sophia Jansen Drewes; her former husband Ben Gaudelius; her husband George Carney; her daughters, Yvonne Gaudelius (Nigel Higson) of State College and Audrey Macdonald (Colin) of Mississauga, Ontario; her grandchildren, Amanda Macdonald of Victoria, British Columbia and Thomas Macdonald (Samantha); and her great grandchild Julia Higson (Treves Li) of Seattle, Washington.. She was also cherished by animals and was never without a pet dog or cat as a faithful companion.
