Samuel Elwood Homan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Elwood Homan of State College, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel A. Homan and Margaret E. Homan (Calvert); his wife L. Aileen Yingling; his great grandchild Kamran Barnes-Rajaee; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Homan Kean and Franklin Earl Homan.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Beck (John) of Archer, FL., Sue Lower (Ken) of Brockport, NY, Ellen Deno (Scott) of State College, Patti Barnes (David) of Dunnellon, FL., Samuel Homan (Carla) of Hope Sound, FL, Lois Zimmerman (John) of Bellefonte, Wayne Homan (Robin) of Pennsylvania Furnace and Julie Fritz of Apache Junction, AZ.. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
