He is survived by: his parents, Sandra Knight of Boalsburg and Mark Hinish; his stepmother Laura Hinish of State College; his sister Amy Hinish; his niece Samantha; his grandmother Janet Hinish of State College; his aunts and uncles, Linda, Joe Lowery, Pam Hinish and Tony Trumbly; and his stepgrandparents, Don and Jean Brownley.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Ryan's memory.
