We are sad to announce that on November 23, 2024, at the age of 81, Rosemary Patricia Johnson (State College, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Richard P. Karas of State College; and her parents, Aurora Silva and Herbert Silva. She is survived by: her husband Lanny Johnson; her siblings, Dr. Herbert Silva (Ann Silva) of Chesterfield and Carol Carlson (James Carlson) of Powder Springs; her siblings-in-law, Kay Barker (Dan Barker) of State College and Ron Johnson (Susan Johnson) of Spring Mills; her nieces, Jennifer A. Myers (Todd A. Myers) of Castle Rock, Colo. and Michelle R. Karas of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; her nephew Richard P. Karas II (Crystal Kramer) of Carlisle; her stepsons, Lanny Johnson II (Kimberly Johnson) of Centre Hall and Dean Johnson (Suzie Johnson) of Spring Mills; her grandchildren, Caroline, Olivia, Sarah Myers, Alison, Aaron Karas, Paige, Jordan Johnson, Logan Johnson and Leah Neer (Silas Neer); and her great grandchild Lydia Neer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lance and Ellen Shaner Cancer Center.
