He was predeceased by: his former wife Ellen Sherwood (Leete); his parents, William T. Sherwood and Theodora Sherwood (Steigerwald); his siblings, Marguerite Sherwood and William T. Sherwood (Rhoda); and his nephew Terry Sherwood.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Good Sherwood of State College, PA.; his children, Donna McBride (John) of Hilliard, Kathy "Kitty" August (Randy) of Las Vegas, NV. and Thom Sherwood (John Fikkan) of Tucson, AZ; his grandson Mike McBride (Rachel); his great grandchildren, Chase, Corey, Conor, James McBride (Ryan Flenniken) of Brea, CA, Kelly August (Erik Bonilla) of Reno, NV, Allison Hobby (David) of Wellington, CO and Patrick August of Eagleville, PA.; his stepsons, Scott Good (Christine) of State College and Todd Good (Karen) of Ellicott City, MD; and his stepgrandchildren, Bryan Good (Alex) of Knoxville, TN, Chris Good (Alyssa) of Lancaster, PA, Jordan Good of State College, Taylor Good and Nick Good of Ellicott City, MD.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
