With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Steed Hostetter of State College, Pennsylvania, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 21, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bruce and Eugenia Wallace Hostetter; his wife Harriet W. Carl; and his daughter-in-law Lisa Chomicky Hostetter. He is survived by: his children, Robert S. Hostetter, Jr. of Gardiner, NY and Laura J. Rider (Thomas Broeren) of State College; his son-in-law Glace D. Rider; his grandchildren, Robert S. Hostetter, III, Glace R. Rider (Jessie Sible) and Nathan J. Rider (Elizabeth Pewo); and his great grandchild Alayna R. Rider. He is also survived by his wife, he raised his children and grandchildren.
