He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Alexander and Helen Elizabeth Cross (Welch); his brothers, Richard Cross and George Cross; his nephew Gary Wolford; and his niece Debra Cross.

He is survived by: his wife Jane Marie Peters; his children, Robert A. Cross, II (Maggie Smeltzer) of Bellefonte and Lisa A. Witherite (Harry Jr) of Warriors Mark; his grandchildren, Anita Dunmire (Cody), Bethany Cross, Kevin Witherite (Taylor), Randy Witherite and Chris Witherite (Tiffany); and his siblings, Maze Wolford (Bill) and Sam Cross (Melissa) of Mill Hall. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

Services will be restricted due to the covid-19 pandemic.
