He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Burke and Catherine Burke (Youngworth); his former wife Joanne; and his son Michael. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Mary Ann Sesler (Scott), Richard Burke Jr. (Marilyn), Patty Klinefelter (Jeff), Janet Shackelford (Bill), Robert Burke and Raymond Burke (Nicole); his stepson Jonathan Phillips (Claire); and his grandchildren, Daniel Wagner, Josh Wagner (Teki), Melissa Totani (Ian), Laura Gifford, Matthew Klinefelter (Kristin), Beth Klinefelter, Kim Klinefelter, Sarah Misko (Michael), Michael Shackelford, Cara Shackelford, McKenna Burke, Max Phillips and Eva Phillips. He is also survived by animals particularly dogs as he had several four-legged companions.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Pets Come First, Paws or Grace Lutheran Church.
