With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Reba E. Files of State College, Pennsylvania, born in Franklin, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Reba may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Reba touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank A. and Mary C. Edmonson (Piper); her husband Wilber Files (Bill); her siblings, Claire Edmonson, Vivian Baker and Eleanor Hoover; and her daughter-in-law Nancy Palfey (David).
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Saverance (Bud) of Bellefonte, PA, Elaine Files of Hummelstown, PA and David Files of Bellefonte. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church in State College, PA.
