She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip A. Mark and Edna G. M. Mark (Crust); her husband John E. "Jack" Hess; and her brothers, Herbie, Philip Daniel (Betzy) and Paul (Carol).
She is survived by: her daughter Lee Ann Candor (Jim) of State College; her sister Cathy DePalma (Nick) of State College; her daughter-in-law Sherene Hess of Indiana, PA.; her grandsons, Adam, Logan, Grant and Gage Hess; and her cousin Joan Pecht of State College. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
