He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman E. Fischer and Frances Prichard Fischer; his wife Joyce Ann Voorhies; his brothers, Vernon Fischer (Ruth Amore Fischer) and Richard Fischer (Dolores Fischer); and his brothers-in-law, Donald Boyd and Quinton Van Dyke.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy J. Fischer of State College and Michelle A. Fischer Dixon (George) of Munson; and his sisters, Joann Beary (Gerald) of Oil City, Lois Ann Van Dyke of Henrys Bend, Carol Polenta (Joseph) of Erie and Connie Dloniak (Ronald) of Oil City. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
