He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Conard Fernelius and Naomi Fernelius (Baker). He is survived by: his sister Sigrid Byers of State College; his nieces, Debbie Hefferle (Brian) of Denville, NJ and Karin Byers (Bob Mowry) of Cranberry Township, PA; his nephew Eric Byers (Ida Pappas) of Hopkinton, MA.; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lauren Carlson, Matthew Hefferle, Kristina Hefferle, Alyson Hefferle, Sarah Mowry, Katie Mowry, Bronwyn Pappas-Byers and Linnea Pappas-Byers.
