It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Koslen Phillips of State College, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 8, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Nancy Koslen has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" Phillips; her parents, Isadore Koslen and Rose Koslen (Kreiger); her stepmother Esther Koslen (Post); and her sister May Warner.
She is survived by: her children, Dean (Mary Kohart), Judith (Tony Stemberger), Ellen (Arthur Maguire) and Abigail (Andrew Karp); and her sister Carole Silver. She is also survived by four children, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, three sisters and many caring nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Centre Volunteers in Medicine, the Snetsinger Butterfly Garden or any progressive, liberal charity of your choice.
