He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin W. Johnson Sr. and Elvira Johnson (Sundin); his wife Geraldine May Hirschy; his children, Melanie Raitto (Jack) of Hollis, NH and Eric Johnson (Nancy) of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Caleb Raitto (Catherine), Andy Raitto, Wesley Johnson, Hannah Johnson Klaassen (Andre) and Nathan Johnson; his sister Marjorie Francis of Michigan; and his brother-in-law Robert Hirschy (Jan) of Wisconsin. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
