With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Veronica Nelson (State College, Pennsylvania), born in Hampstead, London, who passed away on June 3, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mary Veronica may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary Veronica touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick James Piddlesden and Nancy Cecilia Lee; her husband Eric Nelson; her sons, Jonathan and Carl; and her sister Helen Davies.
She is survived by: her son Jeremy Nelson of Germantown, Maryland; her son-in-law James; her daughter Julia Glover of State College; her granddaughters, Jordan Glover (Brandon Martin) of State College and Callan Glover (Brandon Kliefoth) of Downingtown, Pennsylvania.; and her brother John Piddlesden (Sylvia).
