Mary Deutsch Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2025, Mary Deutsch (State College, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Koch Funeral Home (2401 S Atherton St, State College, PA 16801). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (867 Grays Woods Blvd, Port Matilda, PA 16870). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tom Tudek Memorial Park (400 Herman Dr, State College, PA 16801).
While still alive, Mary wrote a note (which we only found after her passing) "In lieu of flowers, please honor Mary's life by practicing random acts of kindness for others" That simple but powerful wish of hers speaks volumes about her character.
