With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Baumgardner Witmer of State College, Pennsylvania, born in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 26, 2021 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Baumgardner and Clara Baumgardner of Pleasant Gap; her spouse S. Gale Witmer of Lemont; her brother Budd Baumgardner (Bertha); and her daughters, Jo Dell Witmer and Deborah Johnson (Roger).
She is survived by: her siblings, Ruth R. Brooks of Pleasant Gap and Wayne L. Baumgardner of Pleasant Gap; her children, Tracy Witmer of Columbia and Brian B. Witmer (Nancy) of State College; her grandchildren, Jeremiah Johnson (Emily), Rachel Callan (Jared), Brandon Witmer, Shane Witmer and Chase Witmer; and her great grandchild Victoria Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and life-long friends.
