She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Thomas and Bessie R. Thomas (Sholl); her husband Willard M. McMurtrie I; her daughter Sharon Conaway (McMurtrie); and her siblings, Edwin Thomas, Boyd Thomas, Chester Thomas, George Thomas, Woodrow Thomas, Frank Thomas, Jeanette Saylor, Emeline Carter and Bernice Thomas.
She is survived by: her sons, Willard McMurtrie, II (Debra) of State College and Michael McMurtrie (Eugenia) of Pleasant Gap; her son-in-law Larry Conaway of Bellefonte; her grandchildren, Christopher McMurtrie (Natalie) of Pittsburgh, Jessica Blair (Christopher) of Winchester, VA, Greg McMurtrie of Pleasant Gap, Jessica McMurtrie of Pleasant Gap and Matthew Conaway of Bellefonte; and her great grandchildren, Peyton Blair, Declan McMurtrie, Lincoln Blair and Nolan McMurtrie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
