He was predeceased by: his parents, Ubaldo Berrena and Amelia Mary Magnani Berrena; his former wife Patricia Ann McCall; his wife Edith M. Lauler; his sisters, Edna Brown and Adeline Smith; and his grandsons, Nicholas Peter Berrena and James Louis Newby.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Ellen McCleskey (Robert) of Mifflintown, Margaret Mary Keyes (Dennis) of Karns City, Louis Anthony "Tony" Berrena Jr. (Kathleen) of Gatesburg, Michael Peter Berrena (Elaine) of State College, Mary Louise Newby (Paul) of State College, Joseph T. Berrena (Connie) of Petersburg, Matthew John Berrena (Marcia) of Pennsylvania Furnace and Timothy Steven Berrena of Huntingdon. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
