He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence and Fietta Shaffer Johnson, Sr.; his siblings, Clarence Johnson, Jr., Bill Johnson and Bella Hocking (Sonny Hocking); his sister-in-law Jane Johnson; and his son-in-law Charles J. Wolfe, Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Kelly Wolfe, Michele Johnson (Denny) of North Carolina and Troy L. Johnson (Trish) of Bellefonte; his stepdaughters, Donna Hendershot of Williamsport and Elly Hendershot of State College; and his brother Roy Johnson of Howard. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
