It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laura Mae Metzger of State College, Pennsylvania, born in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 10, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman L. Womer and Barbara E. Womer (Ferguson); her son Jeffrey Metzger; and her siblings, David Womer, Norman Womer (Cork), Charles Womer and Barbara Shuey (Bea).

She is survived by: her sons, David Budinger, Leroy Metzger (Karen) and Fred Metzger (Megan); her sister Norma Jean Carlson; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Metzger, Meriah Metzger, Dietrich Metzger, Mark Metzger, Matthew Metzger, Ava Metzger and Bree Metzger. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Centre Volunteers.
