He was predeceased by: his siblings, LeRoy, John Weist, Mildred Wagner, Ada Spatz and Mary Snyder.

He is survived by: his wife Sherry L. (Phillips); his daughters, Missy L. (Brad Kopicz) of Mohrsville, Christie L. (Ryan Thomas) of Blandon and Cara L. Weist of State College; his grandchildren, Leah Kopicz and Nathan Thomas; his children, Kim Hummel (Doug Hummel), Kenneth Weist Jr. (Renee) and Kasey Weist (Ginger); his granddaughters, Stephanie, Bridget, Nicole and Samantha; his great grandchildren, Ian, Alec and Mia; and his sisters, Betty Naftzinger and Anna Davis. He is also survived by sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless good friends.
