He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Yost and Dorothy Heckert Yost. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Buckles Yost; his stepdaughters, Elizabeth Yost of Fort Worth, TX and Julia Yost (Matthew Schmitz) of New York, NY; his children, Debra Datta (Chris) of Washington, DC, Heather Algiere (Patrick) of Crofton, MD and Kenneth John Yost (Susie) of Frederick, MD.; his brother William Yost (Susanne) of Greenwood, IN.; and his grandchildren, Hugh, Roger, Josiah Schmitz of New York City, Mathias Yost of State College, Wade Yost of Frederick, MD, Kira Brunton (Greg) of Ohio, Natalia Burke (Ben) of Ohio and Tallie Anne Algiere of Cambridge, Massachusetts.. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
