She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold P. Werst and Anna G. Werst (Paulus); and her brother Bill Werst. She is survived by: her husband Wayne L. Detwiler; her children, Detwiler Jr. (Kimberly) of McLean, VA and Ann E. Merick (L. James) of Glen Rock, PA; and her grandchildren, Jacob, Lorraine, Madeleine, Wayne III (Leo) and Sydney.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Juniata Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America, 9 Taylor Drive, Reedsville, PA 17084.
