José Winifred touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, José Winifred is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that José Winifred's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith May Newman Selley and Philip Markham Selley; and her husband Gilbert Hoffman Ward. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah J. Ward of Kurtistown, HI and Susan Ward Mink of Alexander, NC; her grandsons, Eric D. Prescott, Benjamin O. Prescott, Peter A. Mink and William J. Mink; and her great grandchild Lyla June Beach Mink.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at 500 E Marylyn Ave, State College, PA 16801.
