He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Jeremiah Cahir; his wife MaryAnne Schrott Cahir; his children, Ellen, Kathryn and Bart; his children-in-law, Patrick, René and Andrea; his grandchildren, Claire, Elizabeth, Caroline, Zoe and Alexandra; and his son Bill Cahir.
