With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John J. Cahir (State College, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his father Jeremiah Cahir; his wife MaryAnne Schrott Cahir; his children, Ellen, Kathryn and Bart; his children-in-law, Patrick, René and Andrea; his grandchildren, Claire, Elizabeth, Caroline, Zoe and Alexandra; and his son Bill Cahir.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Koch Funeral Home (2401 S Atherton St, State College, PA 16801). A Mass was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church (820 Westerly Pkwy, State College, PA 16801).
