With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert C. Graves III (State College, Pennsylvania), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 6, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert C., Jr and Josephine Graves (Yost); his wife Nancy J. Greenawalt; his daughter Trish Jensen; and his sister Nancy Bache.

He is survived by: his children, Suzan Graves (Larry Kruchten) of Middleton, WI, Cyndee Graves of State College and Chip Graves (David Kearney) of Palm Springs; his sister Lucy McVicker (Charles) of Princeton, NJ; and his grandchildren, Philip, Kruchten (Angela Jensen) of Chicago, IL and Peter Kruchten of Middleton, WI. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Herbert's name may be made to Penn State College of Engineering, 101 Hammond Bldg., University Park, PA 16802.
