He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Pfischner and Viola M. Pfischner (Klaiber); his wife Carol F. Mason; his brother Charles "Chuck" Pfischner; and his siblings-in-law, Trude Pfischner Heim and Gerald A. Mason.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Mara Hamlett and Michael Hamlett; and his sister-in-law Bonne R. Mason of Boca Raton, FL.
