He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Gilbert and Charles Gilbert. He is survived by: his son Jacob Ricker-Gilbert; his daughters-in-law, Amanda Rigterink and Hilary Ricker-Gilbert; his grandchildren, Ava Gilbert, Ian Gilbert and Theodore Elman; his sister Ethel Curelop (Edward Curelop) of Brockton, Mass; and his nephews, Mark, Jonathan and Gary.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Congregation Brit Shalom (620 E Hamilton Ave, State College, PA 16801).
Donations will go to the training of future master gardeners.
