It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harriet M. O'Brien (State College, Pennsylvania), born in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Szymanski and Magdalene Szymanski; her husband Harold J. "Pat" O'Brien; and her son-in-law John Mutzeck. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Mutzeck and Daniel O'Brien (Laurel); her grandchildren, Alison Ayers, Kristina Helmerich (Stephen), Kelly Nelson (Matthew), Katie Franzheim (Albert) and Patrick O'Brien; and her great grandchildren, Karl Helmerich, Luke Nelson, Anton Helmerich, Zoe Nelson and Samuel Nelson.
