The memory of Gloria Jane Holzhauer Shenk of State College, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 4, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Gloria Jane Holzhauer may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gloria Jane Holzhauer touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Holzhauer and Mildred Holzhauer (Swarr); and her daughter Suzanne Sichel of Boring, MD. She is survived by: her children, Lucinda Neal of Las Vegas, NV, Mary Thorwart of State College and John William Shenk of State College.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church (250 E College Ave, State College, PA 16801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM.
