It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Conklin of State College, Pennsylvania, born in Spruce Creek, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 8, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy A. Kocher and Gladys C. Randolph Kocher; her husband George R. Conklin, Jr.; her siblings, Anna Jean Kocher, Mary Walker, Robert, William and Guy Kocher; and her daughter-in-law Lila Jean Conklin.
She is survived by: her children, Edward L. (Patti Barrett), Paul W. (Kathie), George R. III of Lock Haven, Mary Jo Hayes (Dennis) and Suzanne C. Hanna (John) of Mill Hall; her siblings, Paul Kocher (Thiery) of Centre Hall, Reed Kocher (Janny), Faye King of Bellefonte and Kate Shuey (Gary) of Bellefonte; and her grandchildren, Edward Jr., Erica, Kristen, Kevin, Bryan, Jon, Cynthia, George IV, Katie, Julianne, Whitney, John Jr., Zachary, Elijah and Trevor. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
