It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Frederick Selders of State College, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Frederick and Edna Nestor Selders of Virginia; his daughter Cynthia Selders; and his brother Richard Selders. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Wertman; his sons, Mark T. Selders (Christine) of Port Matilda and Kevin R. Selders (Melissa) of Lock Haven; his grandchildren, Jarilyn Walz (Alexander Newberry), Alexis DeShong (Kyle), Rachel Schilling (Chad), Jonathan Johnson Jr. (Eliana) and Brayden Selders; his sister Huberta Shade (Wayne) of Berkeley Springs, WV; and his sister-in-law Carol Selders of Martinsburg, WV..
