She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman E. Brungart and Alverta A. "Bierly" Brungart; her husband Robert J. Schultz; her daughter Sherrie Schultz Derstine; and her siblings, Madelyn Brungart and Eugene Brungart.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Schultz of Florida; her granddaughters, Amanda Popp of Colorado, Allison Popp Reida (Tad) of Colorado, Jessica Derstine Humphreys (Hayes) of Virginia and Nicole Derstine Haugh (Daniel) of Virginia; and her sons-in-law, Martin Higgins and Paul Derstine. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
