She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Heiyen and Helen Heiyen (Keller); and her brother John "Jack" Heiyen (Margaret). She is survived by: her husband Ronald Buckalew; her son-in-law James Zuhlke; her granddaughters-in-law, Emma, Diana, Julia and Sarah; and her sister-in-law Linda Deffenbaugh (John Deffenbaugh). She is also survived by partners; one great-grandson.
