With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Sowers Majeske of State College, Pennsylvania, born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 15, 2023 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Claire Sowers and Mabert Sowers (Musselman); her husband William H. Majeske; her brother J. Clair Sowers, Jr. (Lea); her nephew Thomas E. Sowers; and her daughter-in-law Margaret Majeske.
She is survived by: her son William C. Majeske of Pittsboro, Indiana; her granddaughters, Elizabeth M. Wilson (Michael) of Berne and Kim Duvall of Pittsboro, Indiana; her great grandchildren, Trevor, Nathaniel, McKenzie Wilson, Mia and AJ Duvall; and her nephews, James C. Sowers (Nancy) of Albuquerque, NM, J. Clair Sowers III (Trish) of Norman, OK and David E. Sowers (Laura) of Denver, Colorado..
