She is survived by: her husband Glenn Carter of Washington, PA; her children, Neil Carter (Cindy) of Ridgway, Lois Rothgeb (Mark) of State College and Colleen Smith (Perry) of Winston-Salem, NC; and her grandchildren, Christy Gibbons (Vince), Erin Tison (Keith), Suzanna D'Souza (Ryan), Noelle Toumayants (Ashod), Michael Rothgeb, Jonathan Rothgeb (Megan), Katie Smith and Emily Smith. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
