She was predeceased by: her parents, Samson Freemon and Ruth Gregory Freemon; and her sister Diane Britt. She is survived by: her husband Barry W. King; her children, Barry C. King (Shannon), Kimisse R. King, Kory W. King and Kristall A. Vastardis (Louis); her siblings, Clifford Webb, Sandi Harrison, Gary Freemon (Christina) and Debbie Freemon; and her grandchildren, Deontay, Najee, Jaheem, Kaysean, Isaiah and Aviana.
