He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F. Arnold and Dorothy Evertts Arnold; and his son David Arnold. He is survived by: his spouse Juliet Johnson; his daughter Margaret Arnold Higgins of State College; his stepdaughters, Lara Myers of Ft Myers, FL and Tamara Schulz (James) of Mechanicsburg; his brother David Arnold (Susan) of West Chester; and his grandchildren, Brian, Morgan Higgins, Carson, Ethan and Caroline Schulz.
