It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dean Byron Miller (State College, Pennsylvania), born in Madisonburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nevin E. Miller and Fannie Schaeffer Miller; his wife Dorothy Mae Rider; his daughter Denise Hosterman; his daughter-in-law Cindy Miller; his grandson Brett Miller; and his sisters, Lois Vonada and Gladys Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Darla Hanlen (Harvey) of Boalsburg, Debbie Behers (Kurt) of Spring Mills, Dennis Miller of Port Matilda and David Miller (Lynn) of Altoona; and his grandchildren, Kari Kroh (Mark), Megan Penson (Jarod), Dana Hardy (Matt), Kevin Behers (Jamie), Rob Pearce (Danielle), Brian Miller (Jess), Lauren Hosterman, Cody Hosterman (Janice), Steven Miller, Emily Walk (Ray) and Nevin Miller. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
