He is survived by: his wife Janet Shannon Brown of State College; his son Daniel Cleary Brown, Jr. of Port Matilda; his granddaughter Emma Kate Brown of Port Matilda; and his sisters, Virginia Brown Murphy of Memphis and Barbara Brown Johnson of Memphis.
