It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty (Lyons) Turner of State College, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 23, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Byron Turner (Bud); and her parents, Edward Lyons and Sarah Lyons. She is survived by: her significant other Bud Turner. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jefferson United Methodist Church in remembrance of Betty Turner.

“I worked with Betty at salon Olivarie's when I came out of beauty school. Rosanna Stover and I went to visit Betty a few years ago when she resided around Bridgebill in the home. It was so nice to see her and as always she was lovely.At 93 or94 she looked wonderful, Hair done, make up. The same Betty I knew 55 years ago. God bless you Betty.
