It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Louise (Gibboney) Shirk (State College, Pennsylvania), who passed away on December 30, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Gibboney and Gertrude Gibboney (Houtz); her husband Robert M. Shirk; and her siblings, Glen, Harry, Duane, Robert, Ruth, Jean and Helen.
She is survived by: her children, Linda S. Johnson (Stephen) of Houserville, Lydia R. Shirk of State College and Robert H. Shirk (Carol) of Altoona; her grandchildren, Stephanie J. Smith (Matthew), Matthew David Gutierrez, John Shirk, Jessi Shirk and Laura Kelley (Dan); and her great grandchild Victoria Smith.
