She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clyde Ryder and Hazel Ryder (Woomer); her husband Bernard G Hoy; and her children, Joan Chirumbolo (Ed) of The Villages, FL, Jean Lehman (Al) of The Villages, FL, Barry Hoy (Darlene) of State College and Bernard Hoy of State College. She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
